Tips & Inspiration Travel

Wanderlust tag

Last weekend I read this wanderlust Tag on Teawashere and I really liked it so I decided to also answer the questions here πŸ™‚

Where was your first plane to?
To Corfu, Greece! I think I was about 15 and I went with my family and another family that are friends of ours. I found it really exciting and also a bit scary haha!

Where have you travelled to that you would love to visit again?
That would be Bali and other parts of Indonesia! Also, I have to go back to London and spent some more time there πŸ™‚

You’re leaving tomorrow, money is no object, where are you going?
At this moment it would probably be New York, to spend christmas and new years there. At an other time in the year I’d probably go for India or Vietnam!

Preferred method of travel; planes, trains or car?
Either trains or cars! I love that a train can take you longer distances and you can just stare out of the window for hours and hours, but there’s also something about traveling by car (as long as I don’t have to drive haha). Driving through the mountains and stopping for a nice view is just not possible by train πŸ˜‰

Favorite travel website?
My favorite dutch travel website is Whatabouther, international it’s probably theblondeabroad.

Where would you travel to just eat the food?
Mexico! I love a good burrito and some guacamole!

Is there a place you would never go again?
I wouldn’t say never, but I didn’t really like Phnom Penh in Cambodia. I liked the killing fields and the museum, but I didn’t like the city itself at all!

Can you recite your passport number from memory if asked?
Yes! But I’ll always check, because I’m scared I didn’t got it right haha!

Do you prefer the Window, Aisle, or Middle seat?
Definitely Window! Middle seat is just the worst and I’m not the kind of person to walk around, or need toilet breaks often. The window is just perfect because you can lay your head against it and sometimes staring out the window is just what you need.

How do you pass the time on the air plane?
Watch some movies, take naps & listen to music!
